I posted and add on Kjijji for Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan. Looking for a driver. I talked to like 6 people and only 3 of them showed up for the interview. 3 guys no women one local guy here in the Fort and 2 guys in city.
Anyways after I finshed supper and went home. I was in the door maybe 5 minutes and the phone rang and I had a call to the airport motel in Nisku $60.00 transportation fee I would pay the new driver. So I called the local guy in the Fort. He seemed nice. Big guys quiet shy says he has a few kids and is happily married wich is nice. So he picks me up and away we go off to my call. I show up on time and the client is happy and invites me in his room. He gives me my donation for the hour. I call the new driver to let him know everythings kool and the client is a nice guy. Everything is awsome. But somehow in the mess of all this I managed only to stay 15 minutes with my cleint who had paid for the hour. but he had finished early. I asked him if he needed me to stay longer and he said he was gonna try his luck on the VLTs. So I left not thinking anything of it.
Well now I am at home and I feel guilty. Maybe I should have stayed longer with the client. I was just in another world because of this new driver waiting for me outside. I had never hired a driver this way before and I was afriad the guy would just leave me way out in Nisku. Now I know I was being silly but how could you really know. Anyways I like the new driver hopefuly he sticks around and doesn't end up turning into a freak. And maybe this client isn't angery with me and gives me a second chance |
